This utlity hunter features a burnished old elk antler handle with brown antiquing and a mosaic pin in the butt-end. This antler has weathered well, giving it a lot of charachter. Randy sinew- wrapped the handle at the blade and added a leather lanyard through the brass thong hole, for added security. The 1/16 flat stock D-2 High Carbon blade (59-60 RC) boasts an intregal guard and a satin finish with Randy's logo on the front of the blade. The advantage of a thin flat blade is that it is light to carry and can be sharpened repeatedly without getting into thicker steel. He also built an intregal guard to prevent slippage while gutting and skinning. A hex cam Kydex sheath with adjustable belt loop is included.
